We Will Rise is the sixth episode of the fourth season of The 100. It is the fifty-first episode of the series overall.
Clarke and Roan must work together in hostile territory in order to deliver an invaluable asset to Abby and her team.
Plot[]
A few seconds later, Ilian is in a cell and an angry mob runs in and starts to stomp on him. However, Marcus Kane comes in and fires off a gun, signaling everyone to stop. He threatens to shoot anyone that touches Ilian one more time. The mob reluctantly walks out as Kane says, "Good choice."
At Becca's lab, Raven sits inside the space pod watching a video. It is then revealed that it's a simulation and Raven fails. She then engages in a conversation with John Murphy, as tells him that she needs more hydrazine in order to make it work properly. She then pauses as her headache worsens and Murphy asks her if she's okay. She tells him that she is and wants to run another simulation.
Back at Arkadia, Clarke wakes up in a room next to Niylah. She proceeds to tell her that she needs to bring rocket fuel to Raven and her mom in order to save humanity. Niylah tells Clarke that Lexa would be proud of her. Clarke tells her that she can stay in her room until she gets back. She wants to ensure that Niylah will be there when they come back with the Nightblood solution. Clarke departs after they embrace in a loving kiss.
Next, Monty tells everyone how bad the current damage is. The only good news about Alpha Station's destruction is that no one died. However, they'll need to deliver hydrazine to Raven and Abby. Roan offers his security detail as protection for their journey since it will be a perilous one.
In the med bay, Bellamy approaches Octavia and tells her that she gave him a scare. He said that he thought she was dead, but she tells him that Octavia is dead. She claims that Octavia passed away when Bellamy killed Lincoln. Although Bellamy wasn't the one that actually killed him, she still holds him responsible. Bellamy decides to walk out of the room in sadness as she stares off with a despondent look.
Outside in the courtyard of Arkadia, Monty gives another warning of how much hydrazine they're carrying. He reiterates the fact if anything goes wrong, then the fate of humanity will go up in flames just like the truck with the rocket fuel will. Everyone understands and they embark on their mission.
Back at Becca's lab, Raven lets out a loud scream from the rocket. She steps out and lashes out at Murphy for cracking stupid jokes about her simulation failures. She calls him a leech that sucks everything dry. He responds by saying she's a mental case. This leads to Raven punching him repeatedly and saying that she hates him. Luckily, Luna comes out and calms her down before she completely pummels John. Luna begins to chant a saying that starts to relax Raven in a major way. It even beings Raven to tears. Afterwards, Raven goes back into the pod to run another simulation. Murphy decides to walk out and tells Luna that she's the new "Raven sitter".
Meanwhile, during the hydrazine delivery mission, Clarke and Bellamy discuss his relationship with Octavia. She tells him that it'll take more time for Octavia to forgive him. Suddenly, they approach a group of Grounders that looks to be a Trikru checkpoint. Clarke gets out of the truck and Bellamy follows. One of the members tells her that they're victims of an Ice Nation attack. As a result, one of their fathers has an injured leg and needs help. However, a curious boy starts to peek around the back of one of the trucks. He notices Roan and Ice Nation in the back of one of the trucks. He yells out to the group that Ice Nation is within the convoy and Trikru begins to attack.
The convoy eventually escapes their attackers, but then approach a river that's clearly an obstacle. Roan says that he will find a path upstream. Clarke offers that Bellamy and Roan go in one of the rovers to move quicker. Everyone else is left with the convoy to protect the precious cargo.
Back at Becca's lab, Murphy is practicing Luna's language. Luna approaches him and starts talking to him. He claims that Raven hates him when she tells him that Raven needs his help. They start discussing how Luna doesn't want to be the last person on Earth. She also tells him that she understands what it's like to hate oneself. Luna begins to explain how her Nightblood is a symbol of violence that led to her killing her own brother. She tells him that he can find peace, but he says that peace is overrated. To Murphy, it's the fighters that survive.
Meanwhile, at the Arkadia med bay, Octavia recovers as Illian is shackled to a bed further down the row of beds. Ilian and Octavia start talking. He claims that he never meant to hurt anyone, but Octavia says that no one will care. She's not doing the best job consoling him and it's for a very good reason. He is currently the reason why humanity may not survive the approaching radiation wave.
Afterward, Bellamy and Roan attempt to contact Clarke over the radio, however, they receive no response. They decide to get back in the rover to head back to where they left everyone with the cargo. Unfortunately, everyone is gone when they return. Roan and Bellamy find a body bag with one of Roan's men. He knows that Trikru did it and they go off to find where everyone has been taken to.
Back at Arkadia, someone is protesting about Ilian and why they're protecting him. He wants him to pay for his alleged hate crime. Monty approaches Jaha and asks him how he's coping with it. Jaha claims it will blow over, but Monty feels he should speak up. He even brings up Jaha's dead son and says that he would be ashamed of him. The man continues to protest as Jaha listens and drinks.
Meanwhile, Raven gets more frustrated about having the inability to figure things out. Luna feels she should meditate, but Raven disagrees. Murphy shows up and tells Raven that her quest for perfection is the problem. He says that she should forget about the computer calculations in the simulation. Instead, she should attempt to fly it herself. Raven appears to have a revelation and thanks Murphy for it.
Moments later, we see Bellamy and Roan rushing to regain their cargo. They know that Trikru is going to use it to blow up Ice Nation. They approach a body laying in the road and Roan knows it's a trap. Suddenly, Trikru soldiers start jumping on their rover. One of them tries to stab Roan through the windshield but misses. Bellamy speeds out of there. During this, Roan realizes that Trikru weren’t the ones who stole the truck full of hydrazine; it was the other two people in Roan’s security detail.
Back at Arkadia, Kane walks into the med bay and orders to shut the doors behind them. Kane loads his gun in preparation for the angry mob that's locked out. However, Octavia proceeds to open the door anyway. Kane aims his gun at everyone. Suddenly, he gets tased by one of his own men. The main protester picks up the gun and then a crew of people take Ilian out of the med bay.
The action then takes us back to Bellamy and Roan. They continue to speed through the fields and find their missing convoy. Clarke is driving it and notices them approaching. She begins to let her foot off the gas, but the Ice Nation member forcing her to drive tells her to speed up. During all of this, one of the Ice Nation members is trying to dump one of the barrels of hydrazine off the bed of a truck. However, Roan decides to jump onto the back of that truck to stop him.
They begin to fight as one of the barrels gets dangerously close to the edge. Roan calls him a traitor, kills him and stops the barrel from falling. Bellamy then circles around the vehicle and blocks it. He kills the person forcing Clarke to drive with a well-aimed shot through the windshield. At this point, all is well and the hydrazine is once again secure.
Back at Arkadia, the mob has Ilian on his knees and Octavia points a gun to his head. He tells her to get it over with, but then Jaha appears. Kane starts to tell everyone that black rain is approaching. This leads to everyone going inside, but Octavia refuses to move. She starts to reminisce about Lincoln as Kane tells her about how it happened. He wants her to put the gun down and she eventually does. Octavia then proceeds to run out of Arkadia. Jaha frees Ilian and tells him that he should run.
Meanwhile, at the convoy, Clarke tells Roan that he's a good king. He doesn't seem convinced since he's running an errand instead of protecting his people. Clarke reminds him that the errand is the most important thing on the planet right now. Bellamy gets out and starts lamenting about how Octavia hates him. Clarke consoles him and says that she'll come around to see how special he is. Suddenly, someone says that there's a problem. There's an arrow in one of the barrels and it's empty as Roan kicks it over.
Back at Becca's lab, Raven performs a manual override in the space pod simulation. She finally completes the simulation successfully. She finds out that she can do it and is very happy. However, Murphy tells her that Clarke reported that they lost a barrel. Suddenly, Raven starts to have a seizure and foams at the mouth.

- Luna: "I give myself to the miracle of the sea."
- John Murphy: "Congratulations. You're the new Raven-sitter."

- Luna: "Because of the color of my blood, I was raised to be a killer. The Flamekeepers harnessed my rage and taught me it was nobility. For years, I reveled in death and violence. I killed my own brother. So trust me when I tell you, if I found peace – you can."
- Murphy: "I think peace is overrated. It's the fighters that survive."
- Ilian: "I didn't know about Praimfaya. You can tell them that. I never meant to hurt anyone."
