Tybe was a minor character in the fourth season. He was portrayed by actor Darcy Laurie and appeared only in Heavy Lies the Crown.
Tybe was an Ice Nation chief. After Farm Station crashed within Ice Nation territory, Tybe's group fought against the inhabitants. Tybe was responsible for killing Monty Green's father. His group also enslaved various people, including other Grounders and at least one Farm Station survivor, Riley. Some point after Charles Pike's group moved to Arkadia, Tybe's group took over the station.
Throughout the Series[]
In Heavy Lies the Crown, Bellamy Blake, Harper McIntyre, Nathan Miller, Bryan and Monty travel to Farm Station to retrieve a hydro generator. Tybe allows the group to take the hydro generator but refuses to let them near the slaves. The group staged a rescue mission for the slaves, blowing up the generator to kill most of the Ice Nation slavers. Tybe survived but was attacked by the group and pinned down. Monty released the slaves from their chains, allowing them to beat Tybe to death.
Personality[]
Like most Grounders, Tybe was loyal to his clan and distrusted the Sky People. He did trust and allow Monty's group to retrieve the hydro-generator as long as they didn't take any prisoners. However, he also has a cruel side as he kept slaves and attacked Farm Station’s innocent children who were simply playing in the snow.

Tybe was tall heavy set man with long black hair. He had scars on either side of his cheeks and a full beard and mustache.
