Lexa's death pushed the show in a new direction giving us Luna. In my opinion her death was necessary for the show, the only bad part was how she died. Lincoln's death is the fault of Jason. If it wasn't for him bullying Ricky Lincoln would still be alive. I don't blame Ricky for leaving because we don't know how bad the bullying was.
No,please no

😭😭I really don't want that
I think its cute but I don't know how long it will last because they skipped over the beginnings and flirtation/forgiveness in their relationship. Similarly, in season 4 Clarke and Niylah are reunited and the show kinda shows they are still a couple but Clarke really wasn't a major POV character so we didn't get to see their relationship go past the season 3 premiere (which I also thought was super cute).
It's the most toxic relationship ever created on the show. And Jason has to throw Clarke and Bellamy under the bus to justify Becho, so it shows how forced this relationship is. He liked a comment on twitter saying that Echo didn't try to kill Octavia (Sure, Jan. She just did it twice) and regretted almost killing her (apparently, she looked sad ... Bellamy looked sad when he went back to Arkadia after killing the Grounder army but some people still hate him) whereas Clarke never regretted letting the bomb drop on TonDC (yeah, we just had a whole episode focused on how much she regretted that decision and the argument she had with Bellamy in Hakeldama showed how upsey she was) or closing the bunker door (the car scene between her and Bellamy in 4x12, where she clearly voiced that she hated that decision, suddenly vanished). I'm not even going to talk about how Bellamy Blake *joking* and *giggling* when Echo reminded him that she almost killed his sister (the guy must have a heavy case of amnesia if she needs to remind him) was out-of-character.
The ship came out of nowhere. I dont know how people can see the "sparks" between them. Was it when she spat on his face in MW ? Was it when she betrayed him and played a huge role in his girlfriend's death ? Was it when she held a sword to Clarke's throat and threatened to kill her ? When she held a knife to his own throat ? When she stabbed Octavia and let her fall off a cliff, puting Bellamy in so much pain that the man had a breakdown ? Or maybe it was when she cheated during the conclave, tried to kill his sister, *again* (so much for someone who regretted stabbing her in the first place) and resulted in him trying to strangle her (that scene was *so* damn romantic) ?
Bellamy forgiving her is fine. He learnt to forgive people thanks to Clarke, Kane, Jaha and others. Him having a physical relationship with Echo, to kill the time, is fine. But there's a difference between forgiving someone who terrorized you and opening you heart, falling in love with that person. Especially when you're Bellamy Blake and love your sister more than anything else in the whole universe.
The writer's only argument is : "It's been six years. Bellamy was alone". Well, Raven didnt have anyone during six years. She seems totally fine.
No one is perfect, Clarke made mistakes, too. But comparing Clarke letting a bomb drop on TonDC, something she *had* to do to beat the Mountain Men, or closing the bunker door (Luna was still out there, who knew Octavia would win ?) to killing people just like that and *cheating* (Roan didnt give Echo the order to stab Octavia or cheat during the Conclave) is ridiculous. Jason is agreeing with people bashing his two leads to justify why he paired the most hated character with the most loved one.
"The show isn't about ships". Yet, he does a bunch of interviews to defend his gag-worthy ship. It's not because you wrote a time jump that you have to create controversial ships like this one.
I really really hope it won't last. It's an insult to Bellamy and Echo (for now, she's just introduced as the male lead's love interest).
They're the cutest thing ever. <3 I really hope they last, Bellamy deserves someone that loves him as much as he loves her, someone that'll put him first and that will understand his side of things, which is what Echo has been doing until now.
They're soft, they're badass and they're equals, I love them. <3
Echo in Season 5 proven to be the most dependable person. No betrayals to anyone from Wonkru or Spacekru. The moment she left Polis as deflector she was on her mission to get people from Polis to the valley (incl. Octavia) and to save Bellamy. She was not crazy like Octavia, or super mother like Clarke blind for others. I my opinion great character they really need in The 100 and Bellamy must be happy Echo is dating him. Echo is still a badass but loving Bellamy and helping all the others from her family and Wonkru. In general these 4 Spacekru people in Valley (Echo, Raven, Emori and Murphy) should be decorated as war heroes :-) at the end. Closing of Episode 12 when they were finally together in Rover was sweet.
Started shipping them since s2. It's not unusual; they were both on opposing sides, but you do that to survive sometimes.
I just wish they highlighted more of the relationship with a flashback. Maybe they'll do that in six, although Exit Wounds would have been the perfect opportunity for it.
