  • What are your theorys for season 3? They are everywhere here so lets hear them.

    • I have a feeling that Lincoln is going to die, killed by Pike, and Bellamy had the opportunity to put a stop to it (maybe at the risk of his relationship with Pike) but didn't. This would explain why Octavia beat him up at the end of the trailer.

    • Or maybe Bellamy is working undercover for Kane and can't stop Lincoln's death without blowing his cover? Or maybe it's the field of dead grounders Octavia is upset about?

By the end of the season Lexa will no longer be commander but I don't think she's going to die, I'm just not sure what they're going to do with her character. Unless she goes on her own walkabout lol.

    • Lincoln can't die. The writers haven't failed me yet and I have faith they know how valuable he is to the fans and to the story (even if they have tortured him more than Raven).

I prefer the theories that it's Indra or Jasper or a bunch of Trikru that Bellamy causes the death(s) of.

    • I think Bellamy will side with Pike because he couldn't see other options and couldn't afford him as an enemy. I think Pike will increase in popularity and turn people against Abby. This will all be when Bellamy and Kane go out to look for Clarke. Pike will seize the opportunity to turn sky people away from Abby. When Kane, Bellamy and Clarke return, Pike will have too much support to not be taken seriously.

    • After seeing the first episode of this season, Ill predict that the reason for Octavia's antipathy towards her towards her brother stems from the fact she seems to have two loves in her life: the first is obviously Lincoln, the second is the grounder, specifically the Tree People (Lexa & Lincoln's tribe) way of life (tribal warrior culture, reliance on lower forms of technology, different language, etc). Lincoln himself is pretty chill with dwelling amongst the Sky People and taking part in many of their ways, yet Octavia constantly wishes to return to the Tree People (with Lincoln) and become a tribal warrior once again. That, and she seems to insist to Lincoln that coexistence between the Sky People and the Grounders is impossible, (as in their ways of life cannot coexist); Lincoln of course refutes this idea.

I think that however the conflict starts, Octavia will choose to side with the Tree People simply because she wishes to preserve the Tree People way of life over the Sky People way of life.

I'm pretty sure some group of Grounders will end up sparking the war, and that Bellamy's motivation for being a champion of the Sky People in this conflict may be to restore peace and order, albit with the geopolitical situation altered to where the Sky People (and not Lexa & her Tree People) are the Hegemon amongst the regions different peoples/tribes (as if the Grounders spark the war, it would be clear the balance of power cannot & should not return to the status quo antebellum).

    • so i watched e3 and have a few theories, what u think:

      1) lexa might die in the next episode, but not really, since there were spoiler pictures of the finale with her so i think she gets trapped in the city of light and clarke gets to save her

      2) pike gets bellamy to fight with him and his army, pike maybe becomes a chancellor, and i think in the end of the episode 3 the ambasadors were from the other clans, now working with nia. i think in the next episode they raise an army against trikru or skaikru and pike fights them and wins, starting a war or something

      3) i think there is a pretty chance that clarke will kill nia and become the next heda of the coalition. i think all the clans leaders kings, commanders or whatever they are called will see clarke kill nia and then bow before her, i mean she is wanheda...

      4) i think clarke might work with emerson after he gets captured to use him somehow, probably leading to her ending in the city of light...

any actual plot leaked, please put links i am dying to find out what the hell happens...

this theory might be completely correct cuz all the evidence I've noted from season 3 proves it:

So I think the City of Light is a virtual reality. Reasons:

1- Jaha and other characters have repeatedly said that "there is no pain/death in the City of Light".

2- when Jaha's underling (the tall bald guy who Murphy tried to hit on the head when he was choking Murphy's gf) dies, we see him at the end of the episode alive in the City of Light.

3- the Red Lady is only visible once someone swallows the pill thing like Raven did.

All the above suggests that the CoL is a virtual reality accessed by eating those pills that allow your consciousness to be uploaded (? cant think of a better word) to the CoL. and I guess this kind of isolates your physical aspects, such as pain (as shown with Raven) and death (as shown with dead bald guy), from your consciousness. this also has implications such as immortality (unless it's possible to erase someone's consciousness from the CoL).

    • I think the time Clarke is hugging bellamy, she has the chip, because she looks very relaxed and calm. The same expression that Raven had when she took the chip.  Clarke enters the city of light to try and get her friends out ( jasper and Lexa).. or could be Lexa is in the COL to rescue Clarke .  I believe maybe the Polaris capsule that Titus has is the missing key Alie is looking for to complete whatever it is she is trying do. (End the world?)  I think Lincolns death at the hands of Pike will be the wake up that Bellamy needs to realize Pike isnt the person he claims to be, this will lead (I believe) to oust Pike and Marcus will take over, but bellamy will be so distraught, he may leave, unable to return, a self banishment for all he has done. Hopefully, Clarke will help him. but not until he is ready. if he ever will be.

    • couple of theories, after the last episode:

      1) grounders are not related to ALIE, but to another program, probably becca or ALIE 2.0, and have like their own version of CoL, reserved only for the commanders

      2) it will not be lexa who goes into hiding in the mid season finale, but rather clarke. there are theories that she dies, but i think that after she gets attacked by titus she disapears with murphy. after that scene where titus shoots her, i believe is when lexa shouts on titus...

3)CoL is a real place. an actual paradise and not only virual reallity. after giving it some time, here it is: virtual reality would not work without some center, and CoL that is, your mind becomes downloaded, yes, and you become a hologram, like ALIE...

theories and fears why clarke is not in the midseason finale:

      1) she dies and goes to the city of light

      2) she goes into hiding, and finds luna

      3) she escapes polis with murphy and goes to the CoL, like where jaha and murphy went, maybe picks up emori on the way

just one question, when do you think lexa shouts on titus, before or after he tries to kill clarke in front of her??

    • Lincoln had to die as Ricky was casted for American Gods as he was bullied by JR. Hated it though.

Lincoln didn't have to die. He could have been written off like Wick or had his role "reduced" to how often we saw him in S3 already.

To make it clear, Ricky got the role in American Gods AFTER Lincoln was already killed, so please don't insert that excuse anywhere near the real reason for Lincoln's death. It's shifting the blame off JR, who is 10000% responsible for forcing Ricky to leave a role he loved and a show and group of people he called family.

    • It's no question whether JR made Ricky leave or not.

I think writing a character off, just like that, is very hard when the characters has as many connections as Lincoln. He was with Octavia, who would never have just said "Goodbye!" as all she wanted to do was basically leave.

agree 100% you cant just "go away" if he did we would also lose Octavia , who would go with him. He asked to be released from his contract, as he was unhappy and while under contract, an actor is under obligations and can't have the freedon to pursue other roles. We all love and miss Ricky. I will continue to support this awesome show  and the amazing cast.

That's a cop-out for lazy writers. I've seen tons of believable suggestions all over the place from Lincoln taking Grounders to Luna's tribe as a means of escape to Lincoln being tasked with finding Luna himself to all sorts of other missions that could have taken Lincoln away for the rest of the season.

BUT it doesn't matter about writing him off vs. killing him when the whole problem stems from JR's rotten treatment of a real human being. Ricky should have never needed to be "written off" or "killed" so the entire theoretical discussion is moot.
