Scene 1 - Sanctum - Lab
	[Raven and Murphy enter pushing the gurney holding Jackson and Emroi] [Jackson continues CPR]
Raven	Almost there!
Murphy	Stay with us, Emori. Stay with us!
Raven	Ok. Slow, slow. Murph.
Murphy	I got it!
Jackson	Raven, get the Defibrillator.
Raven	Where?
Jackson	There!
Murphy	Hey. Come on, baby. Come on, baby. Stay with me.
	[Raven brings over the Defibrillator]
Jackson	Good. Now-
Raven	I know how. I've used one on myself.
Murphy	Jax, what can I do?
Jackson	Nothing yet. Ok.
Raven	Set.
Jackson	Clear!
	[Defibrillator powers up and shocks Emori's body] [Electricity buzzing] [Defibrillator powers down] [Emori doesn't move]
Murphy	Come on!
Jackson	One more time. Come on. Raven, clear!
	[Defibrillator powers up and shocks Emori's body] [Electricity buzzing] [Defibrillator powers down]
Emori	[Exhales]
Murphy	Good job.
Jackson	Her pulse is weak. She's lost too much blood.
Murphy	So we give her mine.
Raven	Mine, too.
Jackson	Murphy's a Nightblood. You're not.
Raven	Wha-
Jackson	Just go back for the others.
Raven	I can't just leave her like this.
Jackson	Unless you've done abdominal surgery on yourself, too, there's nothing more you can do. I'll get her stable, then take out the bar.
Murphy	Raven, he's right. They could be trapped. You got to get them out.
Raven	Alone? How?
Murphy	I don't know.
Raven	Never mind. I'll figure it out. Just...just save her.
Murphy	Hey. Once our friends are safe, you have to go after Madi, ok? You have to stop Cadogan.
	[Raven leaves]
Scene 2 - Bardo - Hallway to Stone Control Room
Guard	Shepherd en route to Bridge. All Disciples, stay alert.
Scene 3 - Bardo - Elevator
Levitt	The Shepherd's unit will be with him guarding the door...
Clarke	Too bad for them.
	[Clarke pulls out two grenades from her pockets]
Levitt	Grenades? So more killing, that's the answer?
	[Elevator door opens] [Clarke exits]
Octavia	It's what we do.
	[Octavia exits] [Levitt follows]
Levitt	Maybe we don't deserve to transcend.
	[Two grenades are thrown towards the Disciple Guards, both of the grenades blow up]
Disciples	[Shout]
	[Clarke shoots the Guard Disciples still standing]
Disciple	Agh!
Disciple	Unh!
Clarke	Cover me.
	[Door chimes] [Door opens] [Clarke, Levitt, and Octavia enter, weapons raised] [They all lower their weapons. The Stone is glowing]
Levitt	We're too late.
Scene 3 - Test
	[Cadogan stands on a Pierre] [Waves rolling] [Glowing light appears behind him]
Callie	What took you so long?
Bill Cadogan	Heh. Our Pier. I took you fishing here once.
Callie	Why only once?
Bill Cadogan	You jumped in. Oh, I told you not to, but you didn't listen. Heh heh heh. You never listened.
Callie	She took after her Mother.
Bill Cadogan	You're not Callie.
Callie	No. This is who you chose. We most often take the form of the subject's greatest teacher or the source of their greatest failure. In the rare emotion-driven species such as your own, it can be their greatest love. Seems you're faced with all of the above.
Bill Cadogan	Are you God?
Callie	Heh. For our purposes, you may consider me your Judge.
Bill Cadogan	My judge? So they were right. This is a trial, a test, not a war.
Callie	Correct. The last of your kind to stand before us - Becca - refused the test. Tell me...Dad, is the human race now ready to join us?
Bill Cadogan	Yes...we are ready.
Callie	Excellent. Here's how it works. We talk, I ask questions, you answer truthfully. If you do not, I will know it. If your answers are satisfactory, your consciousness and that of your entire species will become one with ours. You will transcend your human form and become infinite. If you fail to earn this evolutionary leap, you will be eliminated, turned to crystal the way the Bardoans and countless other civilizations before them were. Sound good? The first question is about love. So few species are given this gift, yet you have attempted to erase it in pursuit of this moment. Why?
	[Gunshot] [Cadogan falls] [Clarke stands behind him with her gun raised] [Thud] [Clarke shoots Cadogan repeatedly in the back until she is out of bullets]
Clarke	Pencils down.
Scene 4 - Bunker - Fighting Pits
	[Jordan pulls at the cement blocking the door]
Jordan	Unh!
Miller	My turn. Get some water.
Jordan	Sound like they're getting closer.
Indra	Gaia took the last of the water on her hunt.
Jordan	I'll go to the river.
	[Jordan walks away with the water bottles in hand] [Jordan sees Hope in a room by herself and stops, then enters]
Hope	Ha. I hate waiting. Done too much of it.
Jordan	Trust me, I know. But Octavia and Clarke can take care of themselves.
Hope	Thank you.
Jordan	That's what friends are for.
Hope	Friends, huh?
	[Hope closes the door]
Hope	Can...friends do this?
	[Hope kisses Jordan]
	[Bridge opens]
Hope	Oh, they're back!
	[Hope runs towards the Bridge, Jordan follows]
Indra	Form up! Attack on my orders!
	[Eligius Prisoners enter]
Indra	What the hell are you doing here?
Raven	Saving our asses again. Thank you.
Nikki	It's what Hatch would do.
Raven	Stone's right through there.
Nikki	Copy that. The rest of you beat it unless you want a lung full of pulverized bunker.
Miller	Hey! We've got people down there.
Nikki	So you do. Hear that, boys?
Prisoner	Yep.
Nikki	Set phases to stun.
Prisoner	You got it.
Raven	It's not Jackson. He's fine. In Sanctum treating Emori. Murphy's with them.
Hope	It's got to be Echo or Niylah then.
Raven	Why not the others?
Indra	There are no others. Gabriel's dead. Cadogan has Madi on Bardo. Clarke and Octavia went to get her back. They're to return for us so we can help stop him.
Nikki	Fire in the hole!
	[Boom]
Raven	Then let's do that.
Miller	How? Cadogan will be mobilizing his army for war. We got 10 people.
Indra	With Sheidheda dead, Wonkru will fight. We go to Sanctum first.
Miller	Wonkru will lose, Indra.
Hope	Miller's right. What we need is a distraction, not a fight, a way to get a small team past their army to kill Cadogan.
	[Boom]
Jordan	Energy weapons. Their weapons require energy, too.
Hope	Too bad we won't be able to see what we're firing ours at.
Jordan	Maybe we will.
	[Door opens] [Nikki enters]
Nikki	Look what I found.
	[Echo and Niylah enter]
Echo	Hope!
	[Echo and Hope hug]
Nikki	More importantly, we're through the collapse.
Raven	Good. Then let's go.
Indra	Wait. What about Gaia?
Raven	I'm sorry. Clarke and Octavia are in trouble on Bardo.
Niylah	Sounds familiar.
Raven	Indra, we can't wait for her.
Miller	Slow down. We still don't have a plan that doesn't end with all of us dead.
Hope	Actually, I think Jordan was just about to tell us one.
Jordan	This one would make my father proud.
Scene 5 - Bardo - Forest Room
	[Bridge opens] [Jordan enters] [Jordan has a machine on his back]
Jordan	For my first trick, I will make an army appear.
	[Jordan presses a button in his hand that is connected to the machine] [Pulse] [All of the invisible Disciple become visible]
Disciples	[Chattering]
Disciple #1	I'm offline. Weapons not responsive. I've got nothing.
Disciple #2	None of us do.
	[Wonkru and Eligius Prisoners began coming through the Bridge]
Disciples	[Shouting]
Hope	This is not the Stone Room.
Indra	The distraction can still work. Insertion team, go now!
Raven	Copy that. Echo, lead the way.
Indra	The rest of you, into the trees!
	[Wonkru and the Eligius Prisoners run for cover in the trees]
Wonkru and Eligius Prisoners	[Shouting]
Disciple #3	The last war is here!
Disciple #4	The weapons are down. Why aren't they attacking?
Man from Wonkru or Eligius Prisoners	Move, move, move, move!
Jordan	Well, they're distracted.
Hope	Yeah. Long enough for us to die.
Indra	We all will die. When is out of our control. This is a good how.
Scene 6 - Sanctum - Lab
	[Heart monitor beeping]
Jackson	She's as stable as she's gonna get. It's time.
Miller	Jax.
	[Miller enters. Miller and Jackson hug]
Jackson	Thank God.
Jackson	Raven got you out?
Miller	Yeah. She and Wonkru just left for Bardo.
Jackson	Without you?
Miller	I'm not leaving you again. Whatever happens next, we stick together.
Murphy	I am glad you are safe. Now how about my reunion?
Miller	What can I do?
Jackson	Help hold her steady while I take this out. If she moves, it'll cause even more damage. You understand?
Miller	Yeah.
Jackson	On 3. 1... 2... 3.
	[Heart monitor accelerating] [Emori starts seizing]
Murphy	Hey, hey! Hey. Come on. Emori, Emori! Emori!
Jackson	She's bleeding out. I have to get in there surgically and find the-
Murphy	Hurry up!
	[Heart monitor flatline]
Murphy	No, Emori!
Jackson	Adrenaline.
	[Jackson stabs a needle into her heart]
Murphy	What are you doing?
	[Heart monitor flatline continues]
Murphy	Do something! Come on! Do something! You're a Doctor! Please!
Jackson	[Sobs]
Murphy	No. No, no, no, no. Hey, hey. Emori. No. Emori, please. Emori, please.
Murphy	[Sighs] Take out her Mind Drive. Please.
Jackson	Please what? Put her mind in your head? We know from Clarke and Josephine how that ends.
Murphy	Fine. I'll do it myself.
Jackson	Mur...
Miller	[Whispering] If you died and I could see you again, I would do the same thing.
	[Murphy prepares to cut the Drive out of Emori's neck. His hands shake] [Jackson grabs his hand]
Jackson	I got this.
Scene 7 - Bardo - Hallway
Levitt	You do realize that if Clarke can't stop the test then we are buying time for Wanheda to be the witness for the human race.
Octavia	Can I ask you something? If she gets it done, will my brother transcend?
Levitt	No. Shepherd's Passage, "Book Of Bardo", Chapter 1, Verse 6. "Death is the end, my friend. Only the living shall transcend."
Octavia	Must have slept through that class. What?
Levitt	If she does take the test, then today's the end. Either way, transcendence or extinction... I would have like to live a little first.
Octavia	Same.
Raven	Sorry to interrupt.
Levitt	Ohh!
	[Raven and Echo become visible in their Disciple suits]
Echo	What happened here?
Octavia	We did.
Raven	Don't tell me Cadogan killed Madi.
Octavia	Worse than killed her. Clarke went in after him to stop the test.
Raven	Went in?
Levitt	How do you know you weren't followed?
	[Levitt points his gun behind them]
Raven	Hey. You can relax. The Disciples have their hands full with Wonkru right now.
Levitt	What, you brought an army here?
Echo	They're not here to fight. It was a distraction to get us inside so we can kill Cadogan.
Levitt	The Disciples don't know that. If Clarke can't stop the test to determine whether or not the human race deserves to transcend while what's left of the human race is fighting a war...
Raven	That would be bad.
Levitt	Worse than bad. If we fail, the transcendents send Gem9. The spy understands.
Echo	Look. I'm sorry for what I did to you, ok? I wasn't myself.
Octavia	We'll make friends later. Right now, we have to stop the war. Levitt, on me.
	[Octavia and Levitt exit]
Echo	I'm going with them. Raven, get that Bridge open.
	[Echo follows]
	[Door chimes] [Raven enters the Stone Control Room] [Raven sees the Stone glowing]
Raven	You don't see that every day.
Scene 8 - Test
Clarke	[Sighs] Why am I still here?
Lexa	You know why.
	[Clarke turns and sees Lexa standing in the middle of the Pierre]
Clarke	Lexa.
	[Clarke hugs Lexa]
Lexa	I'm not her, Clarke.
Clarke	I know.
	[Clarke pulls away from Lexa]
Clarke	The test isn't over?
Lexa	No. I'm sorry. We can't stop what's been set in motion. Your species must now be judged through you.
	[Lexa walks over to the pool of blood leftover from Cadogan's body]
Lexa	This man was unarmed, no threat to you, yet you killed him. Why?
Clarke	He killed my daughter.
Lexa	Is Madi dead?
Clarke	No, but she will be because of him.
Lexa	So your need for revenge is more important than the fate of the entire human race?
Clarke	It's not revenge. It's justice.
Lexa	Clarke... [Speaking Trigedasleng] A rose by any other name is still...blood must have blood.
Clarke	You don't know my pain.
Lexa	You're wrong. During the test, I sense every part of you. I'm feeling your pain right now.
Clarke	Really? Then feel me holding Lexa as she dies. Feel me seeing someone else wear my Mother's face. Feel me murder my best friend to save my child, only to have her die anyway. Feel that.
Lexa	You suffer and inflict suffering on others. Pain begets pain. That's not justice, Clarke. You say you do these things to protect your people, but you're all one...people. That much Cadogan had right.
Clarke	He created a world without love to get to you. He killed my child to get to you. Have you ever considered that you're the problem? How dare you judge me when you annihilate entire species because they don't live up to your ideals? Have I pulled the lever to commit genocide? Yes, I have. And did love make me do this? You're damn right it did! But what's your excuse? You play games with people and call yourselves higher beings. You are no better than the murderers I've killed, and you are no better than me!
Lexa	I am sorry for all you have lost. You've borne so much...but if you are humanity, then I'm afraid humanity is not worthy of taking the next step. It has been decided. [Speaking Trigedasleng] Your fight is over.
Scene 9 - Emori's Mindspace
	[Emori wakes up]
Emori	[Gasps]
	[Emori opens the curtains and sees a rolling desert beyond the windows]
Murphy	I remember that. The place we first met. Love at first knife to throat. Oh, you are so beautiful.
Emori	John, where are we?
Murphy	Josephine called it the Mindspace. If it were up to me, I would have chosen our cave, but...
Emori	I died.
Murphy	You did. Not acceptable.
Emori	Heh heh. Hmm. You put my Mind Drive in your head. Two minds, one body. You'll die, too. You have to take it out.
Murphy	Without you, I'd just be surviving, Emori. I wouldn't be living.
Emori	No.
Murphy	Hey, hey, hey. I would take a few more hours with you over forever without.
Emori	No, no, no. You can't do this. I won't let you do this, so wake up.
Murphy	Emori.
Emori	Wake up. Just wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Jackson! Jackson, wake him up!
Murphy	Emori.
Emori	Don't let him do this. Jackson! John, John!
Murphy	Stop, stop, hey.
Emori	Don't! Let go of me!
Murphy	This is ok with me.
Emori	No. It's not ok with me.
Murphy	It's ok. It's ok.
	[Distant music playing]
Emori	What is that? What?
Vance Joy	♪ No second chances ♪
Murphy	The last time I asked you to dance, you stabbed me with a butcher knife.
Vance Joy	[Humming]
Emori	Relationships.
Murphy	Yeah.
Vance Joy	[Humming] ♪ But I hear your call ♪ ♪ Hold on now ♪
	[Murphy holds out his hand for Emori. Emori takes it]
Vance Joy	♪ We're going home ♪
	[Murphy and Emori begin slow dancing]
Vance Joy	♪ If we make it or we don't ♪ ♪ We won't be alone ♪ ♪ When I see your light shine ♪ ♪ Some things are simple, hard to ignore, they say ♪ [Humming]
Scene 10 - Sanctum - Lab
	[Jackson and Miller slow dance]
Vance Joy	♪ The truth is like that ♪ ♪ We're getting colder, so far from the shore ♪ ♪ I say ♪ [Humming] ♪ The world is like that ♪ ♪ I can't see you ♪ ♪ But I hear your call ♪ ♪ Hold on now ♪
Scene 11 - Bardo - Stone Control Room
	[Clarke appears out of the glowing stone]
Raven	Clarke?
	[Cadogan lies on the floor behind her, dead]
Raven	Oh, that can't be good.
Clarke	What have I done?
Raven	Clarke, wait! Did you take the test? Tell me what happened.
Clarke	I failed. It should have been you, not me. They should have picked you first.
Raven	So that's it? We don't transcend? We're wiped out? It's over? Well, can we change their minds?
Clarke	I don't know. I need to be with Madi. There's not much time.
Raven	Clarke, wait!
	[Clarke exits] [The white glowing Stone starts glowing red]
Raven	Ah. Touching a pulsar. What could go wrong?
	[Raven touches the stone]
Scene 12 - Test
	[Raven stands in the Ark]
Raven	No way. Wait. Where's Earth?
	[Abby appears]
Abby	About 42 billion light years away.
Raven	You read our thoughts and take the form of someone we love.
Abby	Very good. Yours is an interesting choice. Not your real Mother, yet her opinion of you mattered even more. You fear her judgement.
Raven	Am I here to talk about me?
Abby	Why are you here? The test is over. As you know, Clarke failed.
Raven	How can that be? Clarke sacrificed everything for us so that we didn't have to. She gave up her soul so we could keep ours.
Abby	She committed atrocities.
Raven	She was trying to save us.
Abby	She doomed you. I'm sorry.
Raven	Are you? Because to me, it looks like you don't feel anything. Have we made mistakes? Yes. Clarke, me, all of us, but we were just trying to survive. I'm not saying we're ready now, and if you don't want us to join you, fine...but at least let us live, keep trying to do better. We will. We have.
Abby	You say you have, yet even now you are poised and on the brink of self-extermination. Look.
	[Raven turns to her right]
Scene 13 - Bardo - Forest Room
	[Raven and Abby are transported to the clearing where the standoff between the Disciples and Wonkru is happening
People	[Shouting]
Abby	You say you're trying to do better, but all I see are two tribes of frightened creatures willing to kill the other to save themselves.
Raven	But they're not fighting. It was just a distraction. This proves nothing.
Abby	They will fight, Raven, like they always do.
Raven	You can't possibly know that.
Raven	Hmm.
	[Sheidheda appears from the trees]
Sheidheda	Let the games begin.
Raven	Stop! What the hell are you doing?
Abby	They can't see or hear you. You cannot stop this. No one can.
	[Sheidheda begins shooting at the Disciples] [Shouting] [Octavia, Levitt, and Echo race through the forest]
Indra	Who fired? No one responds!
Octavia	Levitt, slow down.
Man	Hold your fire! Don't shoot!
Man	Hold
	[Levitt runs out onto the battlefield]
Man	Wait, wait, wait!
Indra	Hold!
Levitt	Listen to me. This is not the last war.
Sheidheda	Err.
Levitt	We don't achieve transcendence through violence. Cadogan was wrong. We're being tested right now, all of us.
Raven	You were saying?
Levitt	Put down your weapons!
Sheidheda	Nonsense. History is written by the victors. Let's try this again.
	[Sheiheda shoots Levitt in the back]
Levitt	Unh!
	[Indra looks to see Sheidheda hidden in the trees]
Disciple	Man down! Return fire!
	[Disciples begin shooting]
Octavia	Levitt, no!
Choir	♪ To the one I love ♪
	[Octavia runs toward Levitt]
Echo	Octavia, wait!
Choir	♪ This one goes out... ♪
Echo	Damn it!
	[Echo runs after Octavia]
Octavia	Indra, cover me!
Indra	Fire!
	[Wonkru begin returning the fire]
Hope	No.
	[Hope tries to run out and help Octavia. Jordan holds her back] [Octavia reaches Levitt and holds him]
Choir	♪ A simple drop ♪
	[Echo is shot in the side by a Disciple]
Echo	Unh!
Choir	♪ To occupy my time ♪
Octavia	Oh, my God.
Choir	♪ This one goes out to the one I love ♪
	[Octavia and Echo take each arm of Levitt and pull him to safety]
Choir	♪ Fire ♪ ♪ Fire ♪
Octavia	Echo, you're hit. What the hell are you doing?
Echo	I lost Bellamy. I will not lose his sister.
Choir	♪ Ooh, ooh, ooh ♪
Scene 14 - Bardo - Hallway
	[Clarke runs]
Scene 15 - Bardo - Forest Room
Disciple	Aah!
Abby	Don't you see? Despite the beauty that humans are capable of, you can't break free from the cycle of violence.
Scene 16 - Bardo - Hallway
	[Door chimes] [Door opens] [Clarke enters the Memory Capture Room]
Choir	♪ This one goes out to the one I've left behind ♪
Clarke	Hi, baby. I'm here.
Scene 17 - Bardo - Forest Room
Hope	Aunty O!
Choir	♪ A simple prop to occupy... ♪
	[Hope and Jordan run over]
Levitt	You have to stop the war.
Jordan	I got this.
Levitt	Stop the war.
Abby	This is who you are. That's why you failed the test.
Scene 18 - Bardo - Memory Capture Room
Clarke	I'm so sorry I failed you. I failed everyone.
Choir	♪ Fire ♪
Scene 19 - Bardo - Forest Room
Abby	It's time for us to go, Raven. The end of the human race is here.
Scene 20 - Bardo - Memory Capture Room
Choir	♪ Fire ♪
Scene 21 - Bardo - Forest Room
Levitt	You can do this.
Octavia	Jordan, Hope, don't let them die. The dead don't transcend.
	[Octavia runs back toward the fighting]
Hope	You're gonna be ok.
Choir	♪ This one goes out to the one I love ♪
Octavia	Indra! Indra, hold your fire!
Choir	♪ Goes out to the one I've left behind ♪
Indra	[Speaking Trigedasleng] Hold your fire! Hold your fire!
	[Wonkru stops shooting and looks to Indra]
Sheidheda	Indra is not in command here! I am, and I say... [Speaking Trigedasleng] Blood must have blood.
Wonkru and Sheidheda	[Speaking Trigedasleng] Blood must have blood. Blood must have blood. Blood must have blood.
	[Wonkru begin firing on the Disciples again]
Wonkru and Sheidheda	[Chanting continues]
Sheidheda	[Speaking Trigedasleng] We charge! We breach the wall! We kill them all! On my...
	[Indra points one of the Eligius blasters at Sheidheda] [Blaster charging]
Indra	[Speaking Trigedasleng] For my Mother.
	[Indra shoots Sheidheda, he obliterates] [Wonkru stops shooting] [Disciples stop shooting]
Octavia	Enough!
	[Octavia comes out of the woods. Octavia stabs her sword into the ground]
Octavia	Ahh! What the hell are we doing here? You swore an oath to fight for all mankind. Well, look around you! We are mankind! We are one crew! If I kill you, I kill myself. If we keep killing each other, there won't be anyone left to save! Our fight is over, Indra!
	[Indra holds up her sword in the air, then throws it away] [Wonkru drops their weapons]
Indra	I hope you know what you're doing.
Octavia	We're unarmed. I know you're afraid to walk away from everything you've spent your lives training for. I am, too. My brother believed, as you do, that transcendence, whatever that means, is within reach. He died for that belief, and for that, he'll never get there, never transcend. I don't know what I believe, but I do know that if we fight this war we don't deserve to find out if he was right. We don't deserve to survive. We fail, we die.
Raven	She's reaching them.
Octavia	I've been to war, and let me tell you the only way to win...is not to fight.
	[Octavia runs back into the forest]
Octavia	[Panting]
	[Octavia makes it back to Jordan, Hope, Echo, and Levitt. She places her hands over Levitt's bullet wound]
Levitt	Nice speech.
	[Levitt starts to become limp]
Octavia	No. Stay with me! This does not end here.
	[Echo's eyes close]
Hope	Echo, no! No!
Octavia	Pump her heart. Do it now!
	[Hope begins giving CPR to Echo]
Disciple	Sir, what are your orders?
Hope	[Crying]
Disciple	For all mankind.
	[Disciple drops their gun] [Another drops theirs]
Disciple	For all mankind.
	[More Disciples follow]
Disciple	For all mankind.
Disciple	For all mankind.

Raven	I told you. We can change. We just need more time. Please.
Hope	[Grunting]
	[Echo begins to glow] [Hope stops performing CPR]
Octavia	What are you doing?
Hope	What?
Octavia	I said-
Jordan	What's happening?
	[Echo turns into a ball of light and floats up] [Levitt starts to glow]
Levitt	No pain.
	[Levitt turns into a ball of light and floats up]
Jordan	Oh, my God.
	[Jordan and Hope begin to glow]
Hope	Ohh!
Jordan	This is what I saw when I was adjusting.
Hope	[Crying]
	[Jordan and Echo turn into balls of light and float up]
Octavia	Bellamy was right.

Lexa	Such a curious species. You've added so much to us already. I'm glad to have been wrong about you.

Lexa	Of course not, but you are the only test subject from any species anywhere in the universe since the dawn of time who committed murder during a test.

Lexa	Madi knew you'd say that.

Lexa	In a manner of speaking, yes. Her consciousness has joined ours. She's at peace. She'll never feel pain, she'll never die. She knew that living here without anyone her own age to love is something you wouldn't have wanted for her, even if it meant you being alone. I suppose that choice was made easier with the realization you wouldn't be.
