Nakara[1] is a frozen planet with a breathable atmosphere. It was one of the six worlds in the Milky Way Galaxy, connected by the Anomaly Stone. The Anomaly presence also was detected on the planet and it is utilized by the Disciples as a burial ground for their dead.

History[]

Nakara was one of the six worlds in the Milky Way Galaxy, connected by the Anomaly Stone. The primary usage of the planet is Ossuarium, or burial of the dead for the Disciples. Surface openings indicates presence of organic entities.

Throughout the Series[]

In Hesperides, Raven Reyes attempts to get herself, Clarke Griffin, Niylah, Jordan Green and Nathan Miller to Skyring using the Temporal Anomaly. However, the planet Raven selects on a Disciple's armor's HUD proves to be Nakara instead of Skyring, stranding the group on the icy planet with no sign of an Anomaly Stone to get them elsewhere.

In Nakara, Raven is able to locate the Anomaly Stone nearby using the HUD in her armor which also gives her information on the planet. Uncovering a dead body buried in the snow nearby, the group realizes that the Disciples use Nakara as a burial ground for their dead. The group heads into a nearby cave entrance where an attack by a small creature damages Raven's helmet somewhat. As the group becomes separated by moving walls, Raven realizes that they are not in a cave but instead in an organic lifeform. The group is eventually able to reunite and find the Anomaly Stone with Raven using a symbol from the corpse to identify the correct planet, though hindered by her cracked helmet. Miller and Niylah discover a cloth with the symbol of the Second Dawn doomsday cult on the ground, suggesting a link between the Second Dawn and the Disciples. Under attack by more of the smaller creatures, Raven opens the Anomaly and the group heads through, leaving Nakara.

In The Queen's Gambit, Anders shows Gabriel Santiago the corpse of Orlando, which the Disciples are about to send through the Anomaly to Nakara. After Gabriel says some words over the body, the Disciples open the Anomaly which absorbs Orlando and sends him through to Nakara. Gabriel asks Anders if Nakara is their heaven, surprising Anders with how much Orlando didn't tell them. Anders admits that it is not their heaven however.

Three months later, Clarke's group arrives through the Anomaly from Nakara, surprising the team working on the Anomaly Stone when they detect where the group is coming from.

In Anaconda, after Clarke comments on finding the Second Dawn's symbol on the burial shroud, Bill Cadogan realizes that Clarke's group came from Nakara. Cadogan quips that this explains the smell that the group brought with them.
