Sic Semper Tyrannis is the ninth episode of the fifth season of The 100.[2] It is the sixty-seventh episode of the series overall.

- "Sic Semper Tyrannis" is a Latin phrase translating to "thus always to tyrants",[4] which means that "tyrannical leaders will inevitably be overthrown".[5]
- The phrase is said to have originated with Brutus during the assassination of Julius Caesar but it is disputed if Brutus said the line.[4]
- John Wilkes Booth shouted "sic semper tyrannis" after he killed President Abraham Lincoln in 1865.[6]
- It is the state motto of Virginia,[7] a U.S. state which parts of The 100 takes place in.
