Shay was a minor character in the third season. She was portrayed by actress Nesta Cooper and debuted in "Red Sky at Morning".
Early Life[]
She was a born on Earth and is a member of the Floukru clan.
Throughout the Series[]
In Red Sky at Morning she was among the people who welcomed Clarke, Bellamy, Jasper and Octavia to her home, and she quickly struck up a friendship with Jasper. She was with Jasper when the oil rig was infiltrated by some of A.L.I.E.'s followers, and as the two tried to escape Shay was hit by an arrow fired by the Captain. The injured Shay crawled to the main deck and freed Clarke, Bellamy, and Octavia from their imprisonment before dying from her injury.
Personality[]
She was a kind, caring person. She often told stories, which she admits weren't always true. She also demonstrates bravery when she uses her last moments to break out Clarke and the others.

Shay had brown skin, black hair and brown eyes. She also had a tattoo on the left side of her face.
Relationships[]
Jasper Jordan[]
Shay becomes friends with Jasper Jordan when he, Octavia Blake, Bellamy Blake and Clarke Griffin visited Luna's rig. When she is killed, Jasper is shown to be remorseful but due to taking the chip doesn't feel the emotional pain.
