Semet was a minor character in the third season. He was portrayed by actor Zak Santiago and debuted in "Bitter Harvest".
Early life[]
Little is known about Semet. He was a member of Trikru. He had a wife, sons, and a brother that were all at some point killed by Skaikru. At some point he became the chieftain of Rendon.[1]
Throughout the Series[]
In Bitter Harvest, he is first seen when Octavia enters his village to warn him of an oncoming attack from the Sky People. Semet attacks her but is soon informed by a young boy, Gavriel, that she saved him, and that she isn't lying. Semet stops attacking her but quickly captures her, and prepares for the attack from the Sky People. When the Sky People rush in, Semet and the others from the village fire arrows at targets placed in their village, setting off deadly smoke bombs. Two Sky People are killed and Octavia is taken to Polis to demand justice for the Sky Peoples actions.
In Thirteen, he and a few of his people enter the Commander's throne room to demand justice for what has happened to his people. Lexa, however, only sends the armies of the twelve clans to form a blockade around the Sky People's territory, and wait for them to take out their corrupt leaders. Furious, Semet takes out a knife and attempts to kill Lexa, but is stopped by Titus and stabbed three times, killing Semet.Personality[]
Semet is very unforgiving and untrustworthy, as demonstrated by his attitude and actions towards Octavia, even when she informs him of the oncoming attack on his village. He also isn't afraid to take matters into his own hands, as shown when he tried to kill Lexa.
Physical Appearance[]
Semet is a very tall and used a walking stick for support. His hair and beard are salt and pepper, and both are very long. He had a fair complexion and had tattoos on his face.
