The cast did not attend San Diego Comic-Con to promote the sixth season, unlike the previous five years. Instead episode 511 "The Dark Year" was shown at a special WB comic-con screening event.[7][8]

However, Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor attended Comic-Con for TV Guide Magazine's Fan Favorites.[9]
