Roz Rankin is a minor character in the fifth season. She was portrayed by Elfina Luk and debuted in "Sleeping Giants".
Rankin was a prisoner aboard Eligius IV and was awakened by Miles Shaw and Charmaine Diyoza.
Early Life[]
At some point in her life she committed a crime that led her to imprisonment aboard Eligius IV that lead a mining mission in space. Eventually, she and her other fellow prisoners would rebel against the crew and take over the craft. She would then get put into cryogenic sleep, to await their return to Earth.
Throughout the Series[]
In Sleeping Giants, she runs up to Charmaine Diyoza to inform her about the proximity alarm being triggered on Eligius IV. Diyoza asks Rankin if she has activated Kodiak, Rankin shakes her head and Diyoza tells her follow protocols. Rankin runs off to do as Diyoza said.
In Exit Wounds she asks Paxton McCreary if he knew anything about John Murphy and he denies it, but when they find him quickly the two and another prisoner go out to look for him. Later, when they get to where Murphy is supposed to be, they can't find him, so they go to the nearest cave, and upon entering the bomb that Emori planted activated, killing Rankin.
