The Resistance Against A.L.I.E. is a group of non-chipped individuals that opposed A.L.I.E. and her followers in the conflict against A.L.I.E. Many of the members were previously part of Kane's resistance against Pike in the Arkadian Civil War.

In "Wanheda (Part 1)", Murphy refuses to take the City of Light Key, resisting A.L.I.E. and Jaha. Later, in "Wanheda (Part 2)", Murphy refuses again. He and Emori escape from A.L.I.E., Jaha, and the recently converted Otan. While the pair don't actively fight A.L.I.E., they want nothing to do with her and the City of Light.

In "Hakeldama", Raven argues with Jaha, stating he is "full of crap". However, by the end of the episode, she succumbs and takes the key. In "Bitter Harvest", Abby confiscates the chips used to brainwash followers.

In "Terms and Conditions", Raven, after finding the chip-maker, refuses to give it back to Jaha, leaving it in Pike's office. In "Fallen", Abby and Jasper try to stop A.L.I.E.'s control over Raven. Jasper escapes Arkadia with Raven, just as it falls under A.L.I.E.'s control.

In "Nevermore", Jasper, Clarke, Monty, Sinclair, Bellamy, and Octavia try to figure out how to get A.L.I.E. out of Raven's head. After successfully destroying the chip within Raven, the group, along with Miller, Harper, and Bryan decide to actively fight A.L.I.E.

In "Demons", Murphy advises Ontari against taking the chip. However, she takes it and imprisons Murphy. In "Join or Die", Murphy is in prison with others who have refused to join A.L.I.E., including Pike and Indra.

In "Red Sky at Morning", Luna refuses to let A.L.I.E. take control of the Floukru oil rig, but declines from joining the fight against A.L.I.E.

In "Perverse Instantiation (Part 1)", Roan agrees to help fight A.L.I.E.

In "Perverse Instantiation (Part 2)", A.L.I.E. 2.0 helps Clarke within the City of Light. Lexa helps fight off A.L.I.E.'s followers and Becca encourages Clarke to pull the kill switch. Clarke terminates A.L.I.E., eliminating the need for a continued resistance against A.L.I.E.
