— Blood Must Have Blood (Part 1) |
Raven and Wick is the relationship between Raven Reyes and Kyle Wick. The two met before the Pilot episode, but are first shown on-screen together in Many Happy Returns. They are portrayed by cast members Lindsey Morgan and Steve Talley.
Summary[]
It can be deducted that Raven and Wick knew each other before meeting in Many Happy Returns. They probably worked together before on the Ark which created some sort of tension between the two of them. Nevertheless, Wick seems to admire Raven since he requests that he get to work with her. Initially, Raven appears to be uncomfortable working with Wick but she, later on, seems to enjoy his presence despite her denying it. Raven is touched when Wick gives a brace for her leg. They are often seen bickering in the mechanic/science room with Wick being a shoulder for her to lean on and someone to give her support. Uncertain feelings are shared between the two after sleeping together in Bodyguard of Lies.
Throughout the Series[]
In Many Happy Returns, Raven and Wick are tasked together to find a way to communicate with the Delinquents in order to find them. Wick tries to give Raven a brace for her leg, but Raven denies it. When Raven tries to climb the radio tower, Wick tells her to stop, but Raven persists. Raven ultimately fails to climb, to which Wick tries to help her but Raven brushes him off. Later when Wick mentions helium, this gives Raven the idea to make a balloon that will act as a signal for the delinquents to see. They build the balloon, but it is quickly shot down by Major Byrne as it was considered Grounder bait by her.
In Bodyguard of Lies, Wick and Raven work together and communicate with Bellamy via radio on how to disable the Acid Fog. When Bellamy manages to disable it, Wick and Raven almost kiss but decide against it. Later, however, Raven decides since they are about to go to war with Mount Weather, Raven takes off her clothes and the two have sex. Wick even reveals his real name to Raven, Kyle. Raven gets off the bed after having sex, showing that she is not ready to forget Finn Collins, which agitates Wick.
In Blood Must Have Blood (Part 1), Raven and Wick are tasked with disabling Philpot Dam so that the Grounders and Sky People can get into Mount Weather. However, guards arrive and Raven and Wick cause an explosion. Raven is injured by this and begs Wick not to leave her and he doesn't even when they are captured by Mountain Men.
In Blood Must Have Blood (Part 2), Raven and Wick are both imprisoned by the Mountain Men who plan to harvest their bone marrow. When Cage Wallace puts Raven on the table Wick begs that he let her go. Later, when they return to Camp Jaha, Wick is carrying an injured Raven. In Wanheda (Part 1), Wick is mentioned briefly by Abby when she confronts Raven about lying about being in pain.
