  • Hey Janus. We had parent edits but they were not good. The Eligius Corporation was a historical group. The crew of the ships is correctly redirected to that page, but the prisoners were clear enemies of the group and definitely not members of the company. It's now time to create page Eligius Prisoners the enemies of the company. Do you agree or not?

  • Hey Janus, I wanted to ask you about something regarding characters with the same names. Now that we have two new characters that share the first name as two other characters (Callie Cadodan > Callie Cartwig | Reese Cadogan > Reese Lemkin), I was wondering if we could add the "Youmay" codes at the top of said pages, to redirect them to the character they may have been actually looking for.

      Loading editor
    • I added {{redirect}} to the two Cadodan pages. The other two pages don't need hatnotes since page titles and redirects are clear who the pages are talking about.

{{redirect}} should be used when there is a redirect page that links to one page instead of another, e.g. Jaha. It should not be used if there is a disambig page, e.g. Sanctum.

{{youmay}} should be used when page title is unclear, e.g. The 100, or if user clicked on an article link expecting one page but got to another page, e.g. clicked on "Sanctum" expecting city article but arrived to moon article.

      Thanks for contacting me.

  • Dear Janus100,

An editor named "Murphamyrights", or "86.106.90.106", is insulting me with curse words and is keep messing up John Murphy's page over a dozen times. He also made an account name called "Eugenebrokemyheart", I did nothing wrong to him. Can you block him?

    • Good: that's exactly what I would've done and have done in your position. Be warned that he also edited the Polis page once but it got quickly reverted. One time on a Wiki I Admin for we had a vandal who kept changing IP addresses over the course of the night to vandalize through unregistered and sock puppet accounts. No matter how many I blocked, he just kept changing locations and wouldn't stop. I was actually forced to disable unregistered editing for the whole Wiki to stop him. By the time it was restored a couple of days later he'd given up but I remember that happening at least one more time on another date. But with vandals that sort of thing is something you need to watch out for I've noticed: using multiple IP addresses to continue screwing around after getting blocked. Its a pain in the ass and this sort of vandalism is usually done as some kind of retaliation or for some kind of twisted reason.

    • Keep an eye out: I'm seeing signs of another possible vandal: someone listed Raven as Octavia's girlfriend which is the same sort of screwing around that guy was doing with Murphy and Bellamy.

    • Warning: seeing signs of unregistered vandals again on the Clarke and Bellamy pages and associated relationships. For example listing Clarke and Bellamy as soulmates while Echo is just a hookup.

  • We have this editor who keeps reverting edits on those pages and we had a discussion about it on my message wall, he said he'd stop and then went "sike." He's being an idiot and its turning into an edit war. I'm asking you to intervene one way or another on this matter.

    • Yes, I agree. Edit warring is the wrong way to go about it. And vandalism will get you blocked regardless of everything else.

    • I originally just wanted you to settle our dispute over that and that was all. I didn't expect him to escalate it like that.

  • Dear Janus100,

An unknown editor named, 208.104.49.252 is messing up the pages ten times and he's annoying me too much. Can you block him from editing? He messed up the Nightblood, Reese Cadogan, Myles, and Connor pages. He also said one inappropriate words in the comments under the Reese Cadogan page.

  • I was wondering if I could get rollback rights.

    • Please acknowledge that you've read through The 100 Wiki:Rollback.

    • I do understand. I also know how it works so that won't be a problem either: I've had Rollback on other Wikis and even reached Admin myself on 2. I was inspired to ask because a user did a really terrible job on a page over the course of about 30 consecutive edits. Not an exaggeration. Rollback would've allowed me to easily reverse that instead of the laborious process that it actually took. It's typically stuff like that that I use Rollback for instead of a simple Undo.

  • Hello Wiki Administrator, I'm Eks! I'm a fan of The 100 and I often visit your wiki. I've recently created a server for the 'The 100 Fandom' on the app called Discord. Discord is a popular group-chatting app, which was originally made to give gamers a place to build communities and talk. Although since 2015 it branched out to include communities from all over internet.  Recently, I've been trying to find servers on discord for 'The 100 Community' however there are no official servers either on this Wiki or on Reddit or at all with a good amount of members. I was wondering if it was possible to make a partnership for us; the 'The 100 Wiki' and 'The 100 Discord Server'. I would feature the Wiki page link on the server with an announcement about it, and you could maybe add this server as the official 'the 100 wiki server'. I feel like this could be a good thing to join the communities together to all actively communicate in one place, to gather the fans together. I could invite you to the server for you to look around if it's worth having a partnership, though I honestly don't know if it's possible to even have on. I'm not too active on fandom myself, and I'm more active on discord. If you have discord you could contact me there: my user is eksan #2575. Thank you for your time and waiting for your reply!

The invite to the discord server is below: https://discord.gg/nj8Mu8S
