Throughout the Series
In Join or Die, she was locked up by A.L.I.E.'s minions for refusing the key with Indra, John Murphy and Charles Pike. When Indra was punishing Pike with 300 cuts, John tried to tell Indra to stop. Juel told Indra that John is right.
In Red Sky at Morning, Juel gave in to taking the key and met A.L.I.E and Thelonious Jaha in the City of Light and said she understood.
