Throughout the Series[]
In A Little Sacrifice, Murphy tends to the badly injured Jeremiah who asks Murphy to take care of his son. Murphy instead tells Jeremiah to take care of his son himself, encouraging him to live. Jeremiah is later seen lying on a cot with the rest of the injured.
When Sheidheda and his followers storm the room, they find those who are still alive, including Jeremiah, gone. Murphy and Emori have the group barricade themselves in the reactor room. Now on his feet with his son, Jeremiah realizes that Murphy was right and Sheidheda won. Murphy reassures the two that they are safe there as Murphy has had the reactor room doors sealed so that no one can get to them.
In The Stranger, Murphy calls Jeremiah and Trey out of the reactor room and provides them with clothing and medical supplies sent by Eric Jackson along with instructions. Murphy promises that they are working on getting them some food, but Trey suggests just kneeling before the Dark Commander. Shocked, Murphy reminds Trey that everyone, including Trey, lost people to Sheidheda's massacre and he knows that eventually their fear will turn into anger and a desire for revenge "and rightfully so" and Sheidheda will kill them to prevent that. Trey wonders what they are supposed to do since they can't hide in the reactor room forever, but Murphy reassures him that they are working on that too. Jeremiah states that they trust Murphy and tells Trey that they should pass the stuff Jackson provided them with out. Trey leaves and Jeremiah tells Murphy that he was right to believe in Murphy before returning to the reactor room too.
When Luca arrives, the sole survivor of the massacre of the Children of Gabriel, Emori has Jeremiah take the boy to the decontamination shower to get cleaned up.
Later, he is sitting against the wall with Trey and becomes concerned when Nikki regains consciousness and begins raging. Emori reassures the survivors that Nikki can't hurt anyone and they relax.Personality[]
As one of the Faithful, Jeremiah is one of the fanatics that remain loyal to the Primes after the rebellion in Sanctum. However, his fanaticism isn't as severe as many of the others like Trey and Alyssa as he is not willing to sacrifice his own son for their cause and is relieved when John Murphy, posing as Daniel Lee, intervenes to save his son. In the aftermath, Jeremiah is thankful to "Daniel" for his intervention and shocked when his "god" offers to have a drink with him.
Despite the revelation of the truth about Daniel's death and Murphy's masquerade, Jeremiah is shown to hold no ill will against him, instead asking Murphy to look after his son when Jeremiah thinks that he's going to die and placing his faith in the young man's leadership.
