Hugo is a recurring character in the fifth and seventh seasons. He is portrayed by Hugo Raymundo and debuted in "Eden".

Hugo was a prisoner aboard Eligius IV and was awakened by Miles Shaw and Charmaine Diyoza.

Early Life[]

At some point in his life, he committed a crime that led his to imprisonment aboard Eligius IV that lead a mining mission in space. Eventually, he and his other fellow prisoners would rebel against the crew and take over the craft. He would then get put into cryogenic sleep, to await their return to Earth.

Throughout the Series[]

In Eden, he disembarks from Eligius' ship along with the Prisoners and enters the Shallow Valley. Later he is shocked by an unknown sniper who is trying to gun him and his team down.

In Sleeping Giants, Hugo searches the forest where the shot came from, then when he hears his companion's scream. He goes to see that he has fallen into a trap. Then, he brought Clarke Griffin hostage to Paxton McCreary, and watches his leader beat her and ask her where her group was hiding. Later, he witnessed how McCreary electrified it, to later see how Spacekru and Madi arrived.

In Pandora's Box, he holds his gun while other prisoners carried Wonkru out of the Bunker. Later, outside the bunker, he witnessed when McCreary exploded the fountain, and after Wayne fired his weapon, he went to the ship with everyone.

In Shifting Sands, Hugo is exercising, when Diyoza arrives and draws their attention with shots, and warns them that they will start training for a possible war with Wonkru. later watch as Shaw confesses to Diyoza that he let John Murphy go so that Raven Reyes deactivates the missiles, and then takes Raven to his cell by order of his leader. Then, he enters with McCreary and Virgil to Abby's office, where they order him to take Kane, and he takes him to Diyoza.

In Exit Wounds, he is at a table next to Paxton McCreary, and appears when they bring the beds for the defectors of Wonkru.

In Acceptable Losses, Hugo was present when all the deserters from Wonkru reached Shallow Valley. Later, he and Virgil take Shaw all badly wounded with the deserters, since Echo revealed to Diyoza that he was a traitor.

In How We Get to Peace, he and Virgil take Raven back with the deserters. Later, he is present when McCreary returns with Murphy and Emori, and together with the others he celebrates his arrival.

In Sic Semper Tyrannis, Hugo is in the confrontation of the prisoners on the side of McCreary, and when Murphy hits a prisoner and the fight begins he is one of the first to attack. the next day, he and the people of McCreary unite, and he tells them to heal and then find Shaw, and then kill Wonkru, and then Hugo sees how his leader kills Robert.

In The Warriors Will, Hugo is present in the forest when McCreary interrogates Wonkru members, and kills them one by one, and then returns to Shallow Valley with McCreary.

In The Dark Year, he is present when the prisoners bring Diyoza and Marcus Kane to McCreary, and he listens when Kane confesses that he will help them win the war to prevent Octavia Blake from reaching Shallow Valley.

In Damocles (Part 1), he is in the pilot room of the Gagarin, and is sent by McCreary to lock up Diyoza. Later, he is called together with McCreary by Clarke Griffin, to capture Raven, Echo and Shaw, and he takes the latter to his cell, to later find him and take him to the pilot room and torture him.

In Damocles (Part 2), he is seen when McCreary tortures Shaw so that Raven agrees to pilot their ship. Later, Clarke Griffin arrives with Charmaine Diyoza as a hostage, so Clarke threatens to kill the baby if McCreary and his men do not surrender. Wonkru is about to beat them, so Hugo asks McCreary what to do, and he tells him to shoot Clarke if she moves. Then Shaw shoots Hugo, thanks to Raven and Clarke electrifying McCreary. Hugo is only left wounded by this however, and would later board Eligius IV again to travel to another world.

In From the Ashes, Hugo is present when Nikki threatens Jordan Green to give them a place in Sanctum, then Children of Gabriel arrive at the Palace. Wonkru arrives to take away the Children of Gabriel's weapons, and Clarke clarifies that the palace is forbidden for the prisoners and everyone else. Later, he finds himself in the tavern having drinks with the other Prisoners.

In False Gods, he is sitting outside the palace with the other Prisoners.

In Nakara, he is with the other Eligius Prisoners in the tavern, but then he leaves when Murphy, Indra, and Nikki speak.

In The Queen's Gambit, he enters with Nikki and the other prisoners into the Great Hall, taking the Sanctumites, Madi Griffin and Emori hostage in order to take over Sanctum for themselves.

In The Flock, he is present when Nikki threatens to kill Emori, then when Murphy, Emori and Sheidheda confess they are not Primes, he also hears Murphy accept that it was his idea to sacrifice Hatch. Then Wonkru enters and ends Nikki's coup, and they take everyone as prisoners.

In The Stranger, Hugo is gathering the corpses of Children of Gabriel, until Sheidheda orders Trikru to take care of it.

In The Last War, Hugo arrived on Bardo with Wonkru to create a distraction for the Disciples, but then he began to fire his sonic cannon when Sheidheda started a war, but later, he stopped at Indra's order, after she killed the Dark Commander. He later transcended with the rest of the human race.
