Early life Edit
Throughout the Series Edit
In Wanheda (Part 2), Gideon is with Jaha, Murphy, Emori, and Otan. The boat has now arrived at an old ship dock. Emori tries to unload the case containing A.L.I.E., but Gideon grabs it from her, taking it with him off the boat. Later, Gideon sits and meditates near A.L.I.E.'s case. Otan asks Jaha about the City of Light, and they leave the others to discuss it. Emori tells Murphy that she and her brother were recruited by a female who comes to them in drones. They were hired to collect technology for her which they bring to Gideon on the island. Emori decides to go after the case while Gideon mediates. As she reaches for it, Gideon opens his eyes and grabs her by the throat. As Emori struggles to get free, Murphy begins to hit him, but it has no effect. Suddenly, Gideon turns to him and states, "There is no pain in the City of Light." Emori then grabs her knife and stabs him in the neck, killing him. Later, A.L.I.E. tells Jaha there is also no death in the City of Light. Jaha sees Gideon appear again in the City of Light, alive and with no disfigurement.
Physical Appearance Edit
Gideon is an exceptionally large man. He is bald and has a mutation of the right side of the face. However, this mutation is not present in the City of Light, as people are given the option to remove their "defects" in the City of Light.
It is unknown how long Gideon knew A.L.I.E. Emori mentioned that she and Otan stole tech for her and brought it to Gideon who took it to A.L.I.E. He also took A.L.I.E.'s chip, and he served as her bodyguard and servant.
