Echo is a character in the second season. She is portrayed by cast member Tasya Teles, and debuts in the eleventh episode of the second season.
Throughout the Series
In Coup de Grâce, Echo is seen in a cage next to Bellamy in Mount Weather. She quickly tells Bellamy "Quiet. They take the strongest" in Trigedasleng, which he doesn't understand. Bellamy asks what she said and Echo recognizes him as a Sky Person and spits on him. She then has the alliance explained to her.
Later when Echo is selected for Harvesting, Bellamy saves her by being "a live one". Echo then watches Bellamy as he is Harvested and after Maya comes to rescue Bellamy, Echo helps to hold down Sergeant Lovejoy as Bellamy chokes him to death. After Bellamy's tracking chip is taken from his arm, he promises Echo that he will come back for her.Physical Appearance
She looks like many of the other grounders, Echo has brown hair, with blonde highlights and brown eyes.
Personality
Echo appears to be very loyal to her clan. Since she is not aware about the peace because of her imprisonment in Mount Weather, she presently despises Skypeople. Although towards the end of her last appearance, she seemed to begin to trust Bellamy who promised her a way out.
Relationships
Bellamy Blake
Bellamy and Echo at the beggining have a hostile relationship, as Echo is unaware of the grounder - delinquent conflict had come to an end, and a alliance was formed. Eventually when Bellamy escapes, and Echo sees him as an ally, and comes to his rescue when a Mount Weather guard attempts to kill him. Then Bellamy said that he would return for her.
