Denae is a recurring character in the third season. She is portrayed by Georgia Hacche and debuts in Hakeldama.
Early Life[]
Denae was born on Earth. She is a member of Trikru.
Throughout the Series[]
In Hakeldama, she is being treated at Arkadia's medical facility. Eric Jackson notes that she's getting worse, and Abby orders antibiotics every two hours for her. When Charles Pike becomes Chancellor, he orders all the Grounders in Medical to be imprisoned. She is too weak to get up herself, so a Guardsman gets her up. When Lincoln argues that she is too sick and gets into a fight with a Guardsman, Pike holds a gun to Denae's head to force Lincoln's cooperation.
Later, Nathan Miller passes medicine from Abby to Lincoln for Denae.
In Terms and Conditions, she is one of the Grounders shown in Arkadia's lockup. She also participates in the coup and tries to escape.
In Stealing Fire, Denae helps bandage a female Grounder.Personality[]
She seems to be kind to the people she was staying with. She helped to take care of others who had worse conditions than her, displaying some medical skills. While being locked up, she was willing to fight for her freedom and was also able to be depended on for leadership of the Grounder prisoners when Lincoln was taken away.

Denae has brown eyes and pale skin. She has long, braided brown hair. She is tall with a lean build.

Lincoln[]
Lincoln and Denae have a respectful and caring relationship. When thrown into Arkadia's lockup while still being ill, Lincoln has helped care for her, feeding and fighting for her. Lincoln later sacrifices his life in order to save Denae and the other locked up Grounders.
