Dave was a minor character in the sixth season. He was portrayed by actor Rohan Campbell and debuted in "Nevermind".
He lived on Earth in 2043.
Early Life[]
Not much is known about Dave's early life but at some point, he was a college student on Earth, who had a crush on Josephine Lightbourne in 2043, before the first Nuclear Apocalypse.
Throughout the Series[]
In Nevermind, in a flashback in December 2043 from Josephine's memory, Josephine and her best friend, Olivia, were in a diner, talking about a "secret family project", when Dave came in the diner. When he arrived at the diner, he talks to Josephine about hanging out together. However, when Josephine says she could not, Dave becomes emotionally depressed and upset, causing him to pull out a gun and commit suicide by shooting himself in the head, leaving Josephine and Olivia horrified. As a result, Dave's death causes Josephine to leave Earth on Eligius III to go to a new habitable world called Alpha.
In Matryoshka, Dave appears again in the Mindspace. When Clarke opens the door, she sees Dave shooting himself in the head, again. Later, Dave is seen walking around in the Mindspace as Clarke and Josephine try to find a way to keep themselves alive.Personality[]
Dave is shown to have had a huge crush on Josephine Lightbourne and wanted to hang out with her. However, Dave becomes emotionally depressed and upset, when he tries to call and text her many times and when Josephine says she cannot go to hang out with him, which led to his suicide.
