Caris is a minor character in the second season of The 100. She is portrayed by cast member Morgan Taylor Campbell and debuts in Resurrection. She is part of the Desert Clan[1] who came to Tondc for the meeting of the 12 Clans in Rubicon.
Early Life[]
Not much is known about her early life except that she is from the Desert Clan and at some point became a Warrior's Second.
Throughout the Series[]
In Resurrection, Caris and another Second, Atohl from the Ice Nation, manage to escape sniper fire and get to safety. After Indra is injured by a bullet, she commands Octavia to lead the other Seconds in rescuing the people of Tondc. Caris and Atohl tell Octavia that they can't do anything until Lincoln takes out the sniper. Octavia comes up with a plan to use a smokescreen to block the sniper's line-of-sight so they can get to the wreckage where Marcus Kane and Abigail Griffin are trapped. It works and Caris and Atohl work hard with Octavia to help dig out survivors.
In Blood Must Have Blood (Part 1), Caris travels into the mines with Indra, Octavia, Eric Jackson, several other Grounders and Sky People to clear the mines of Reapers so Bellamy can get the Delinquents and the imprisoned Grounders safely out of Mount Weather. Octavia uses Lincoln's maps of the mines to find the way to the Mount Weather intake door. They eventually reach the door to Mount Weather but then they hear the horn sounding retreat and Indra commands Octavia to leave the mines with them, but Octavia tells her she is not leaving without her brother. Caris asks Octavia to leave with them but Octavia refuses. Caris leaves with the others while Octavia stays in the mines.
Personality[]
Caris is a brave and rebellious Grounder. She is shown to be confident and daring. She is judgmental and quite opinionated.
Physical Appearance[]
Caris has long, braided, blondish-brown hair. Her eyes are dark brown and her skin is tanned.
Relationships[]
She most likely used to know Atohl, a Second from Azgeda. They together were hiding out of sniper fire and helped each other to survive.
