Captain Meredith was a minor character in the seventh season. He was portrayed by Josh Blacker and debuted in "Hesperides".
He was a member of the Disciples, and was sent to Sanctum to retrieve Clarke Griffin, before he was killed by Raven Reyes.
Early Life[]
Not much is known about Meredith, only that he was born on Bardo and then became a member of the Disciples.
Throughout the Series[]
In Hesperides, Meredith arrives in Sanctum with other Disciples in search of Clarke Griffin, claiming that she is needed to help them with The Last War. Meredith tries to reason with her, saying that her side showed hostility before the Disicples did. Clarke not having any of what he is saying, Meredith confesses that he has some of her friends hostage, so they both agree to meet later to discuss further terms.
Later the two groups meet again, and Meredith tells them that her friends killed her people. Clarke tries to sets a trap for Meredith by targeting him and all his men, but he reveals he had Disciples targeting her friends as well. As the Disciples were about to shoot, Jordan Green shows up to distract Meredith, much to everyone's surprise. While Jordan is speaking, Raven Reyes appears as a Disciple, killing all of the actual Disciples, including Meredith himself.
In Welcome to Bardo, during the flashback, Hope sits on the floor of Anomaly Stone's room with blood dripping from her arm where Levitt has implanted the message about trusting Bellamy and surrounded by Disciples. Captain Meredith is not sure where Hope's injury came from, only that she had an M-Cap session with Levitt, although Anders finds his report useless as, unlike Octavia, Hope does not know anything useful. Anders orders Meredith to be careful around Hope, as she turned a Level 7 Disciple, Dev, against her and released her most important asset before she was finally captured. Anders immediately sends Meredith and her men through of the Anomaly after Hope, ordering them to kill her once the girl is done.
Physical Appearance[]
He was a Caucasian man, with a bald head, average height.
