Briggs was a minor character in the third season. He debuted in "Join or Die".
He was a member of the Sky People and a member of the Arkadian Guard. He was also a member of Farm Station, and a supporter of Charles Pike, during the Arkadian Civil War.
Early life[]
Not much is known about his early life except he was born on the Ark and became a member of the Ark Guard. When the Ark landed on Earth, Briggs was on the Farm Station, which broke off from other stations, during the landing. After landing on the Ice Nation territory, he along with the other Farm Station survivors were tormented by Azgeda Grounders. Months after landing on Earth, he reunited with the other Sky People from Arkadia.
Throughout the Series[]
In Join or Die, Briggs was one of the Sky People who are mind-controlled by A.L.I.E., who also controlled the minds of the Grounders in Polis. When Charles Pike was holding Ontari hostage with a knife to her neck, Briggs and Grant, the Arkadian Guards who are mind-controlled by A.L.I.E., came to Pike. Pike orders them to get behind him, but they apprehend him, since Briggs and Grant are being mind-controlled by A.L.I.E., and Pike is taken away to be locked up.
After being locked up, Pike tells Briggs that he doesn't have to do this and that he strong. He tells Briggs to resist and get their people and leave Polis. However, Briggs is fully mind-controlled and leaves as Pike yells out his name.
Later, Briggs was seen dragging Marcus Kane to be put on the cross. When Kane refuses to reveal where Clarke is, A.L.I.E. orders Briggs and the other Grounder to nail Kane to the cross.
In Red Sky at Morning, when a mind-controlled Grounder and Briggs discover that Pike has been tortured while being chained up, A.L.I.E. realizes that someone did this to him and is unchained. After a mind-controlled Grounder is checking on the prisoners, Indra stabs him in the eye and throws a knife at Briggs, killing him.Personality[]
