Book One is the first grand arc of The 100 TV series. It encompasses Seasons One through Five, telling the story of the remainder of the human race on Earth 97 years after a devastating nuclear exchange that had rendered the planet nearly uninhabitable. It concluded with "Damocles (Part 2)", when the last members of humanity engaged in a 125-year interstellar voyage to a habitable world. The main theme of Book One was doing whatever it takes to survive.[1]
