Akela Cooper was a producer and writer on The 100.
She served as executive story editor and co-producer for Season Two and writer for Season One and Two.
Life and Career[]
Akela Cooper was raised in Hayti, Missouri, USA. She graduated with a MFA degree from University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. In 2009, she was the first recipient of the NAACP/CBS Master Writing Fellowship. [citation needed]
Cooper left the TV series Grimm after their second season to become a writer for The 100. While working at Grimm, Cooper wrote "La Llorona", one of their most watched episodes.
