An antagonist is not the same thing as a villain nor someone who is intrisically evil. An antagonist is a person who actively opposes the protagonist/main character (Clarke) in the series through the use of hostility.
I'm not sure if I've missed anything, but I don't recall it being mentioned exactly how the valley survived the death wave. I do remember in the premiere when Clarke said it's like it "jumped over the entire valley," but how did it swallow the entire planet but not Shallow Valley, specifically?
I don't think Diyoza is going to die, but I definitely believe that McCreary and Abby will die. Maybe also Kane but then that would mean three series regulars not returning to season 6. I definitely do not believe Octavia will die. I still want to see her potential redemption after being such a crazy blood-soaked psycopath this season. Perhaps Indra's death can be what leads to Octavia's transition because Indra has wanted her to change, so maybe Octavia would want to honor her last wish or something like that...I'm bad at predictions but this seems like the most realistic.
I started out this season believing that Diyoza is the main villain of Season 5, but, it seems that she wants peace in Eden more than anything, just like Clarke does. So is it really Diyoza?...Or is it somebody else, such as Octavia?
13 episodes, as confirmed by Jason Rothenberg. If the show gets renewed for a seventh season, it will likely be the final season and may consist of 16 episodes so the show can end with 100 episodes.
I thought it was an excellent episode! It was interesting how Echo risked her friendship with Raven in order to take down the Eye. Monty's reaction to Jasper's suicide note was very emotional. And Diyoza is PREGNANT! Octavia has gone mad with her plan to wipe out everybody in Shallow Valley with the worms. It's very sad seeing Abby's pill addiction, which eventually lead to Kane to telling her to choose him or the pills. Excellent song choice at the end. Can't wait for next week's episode, thank God we don't have another two-week break! (However, we do have another break after next week's episode.)
If I were to rank the characters based on their likelihood of dying, in my opinion:
Main Characters:
Recurring Characters:
They should definitely explore more wildlife on the ground, which is something I wished we could have seen before the fifth season.

Yes they are fan favorites but eventually even FAN favorites should be Killed off. You can't just kill off background supporting characters you need to grow other recurring characters like Harper or Miller so eventually when they kill off characters like Raven Bellamy or Octavia these recurring characters can take the their place and become new fan favorites.
Then why fans outrage about Lexa?
I think it was because during the time the episode was released there was a popular "trend" with writers killing LGBT characters off of TV shows. I understand that Lexa's death was very controversial and it made people angry and even I was pretty sad about it. But in my opinion, I think people should just try to move on since it's been exactly two years now.

It was probably a prediction.
One thing I noticed was in a picture shown on JR's Twitter was that Bellamy, Raven, Echo, etc. were all sitting down at a table but Murphy wasn't there.
Jaha will likely be killed off in my opinion, possibly in the third episode because it is the last known episode he will appear in the upcoming season.

If they do it and he dies saving the kid that would be better and make Jaha's death really emotional especially if he gives the kid some wise advice before he dies.
Abby I really hope doesn't die for reasons stated above.
Indra I can definitely see dying especially if they go to war. Ideally I'd like to see her go out fighting protecting Kane or octavia again though before she dies give some wise advice.
Murphy I can see going either way and I understand both arguments, but he's one of my favorites so I give him a pass. However if they do his death right I will except his death and arc.
I know I talk a lot about characters giving wise advice on their death bed but I feel it could beneficial depending on the characters involved plus we never have had a moment like it on the show before.
That would be a great idea!

Season four's my favorite season. I think the "race against the death wave" theme for this season was very eye grabbing in my opinion and it probably had the best season finale out of all five. My second favorite is season two, with the Mount Weather harvesting and Skaikru-Trikru alliance being two of my favorite storylines. Third is season one, I disliked it at first because I thought it was very slow primarily to be honest but then I started enjoying it when the grounder-versus-delinquent story began. My two least favorite seasons would have to be five and three. Five, being my second least favorite, and three being my least favorite season overall. I felt that season five was quite sloppy with Abby's random drug addiction, the elimination of diverse grounder culture with the creation of Wonkru, Monty only being essentially a filler character (before his sacrifice in the finale), and a few other things that really didn't help the show last season. My least favorite is Three for several reasons: the Pike storyline was awful, unnecessary, and dragged out, the ALIE and chip storyline just felt very out of place, and it felt like three different shows at once.
