For everybody:
You have to see the big picture!
Clarke Griffin is NOT the main character of the story which J. Rothenburg is telling us.
Everything fits and makes sense IF you can identify the MAIN-character of the MAIN-story shown us by J. Rothenburg.
J. Rothenburg uses the character Clarke Griffin to discover what could happen - Clarke Griffin tells us about the future.
But there is this REAL character - the ONE who planned everything and controls everything. For this REAL character Sanctum is an important puzzle part - on Sanctum should live around 1'000 nightblood bodies, ready to be use by .........
We do NOT know what happened during 6 years in the bunker!
We just can say that Niylah always respected Octavia - in any and all situations!
Mostly because Octavia (even Blodreina) fully and conditionless accepted the grounder rules!
It would be Octavia to NOT allow any relationship!
Even Octavia was NEVER announced heda - and Octavia NEVER called herself heda - Octavia was the best leader during the bunker time.
Octavia made herself the rule 'love is weakness' - in favor to protect herself AND any other person close to her!
Taking the full story into account - I strong think:
Etherea is a simulation (not a planet in the universe)
To enter & to exit the simulation the anomaly stone is used (directly or with a trick)
Bill Cadogan himself MADE that simulation to train level-12 conductors!
ONLY who successful passes the Etherea pilgrim CAN become Prime Conductor! (kind of prove: Bill Cadogan himself says "Ducette would be a good Prime conductor")
The Disciples made invisible recognitions on Sanctum and realized the arrival of Clarke & Co - as the Disciples made the same on Earth in the delinquent camp
To capture Bellamy was well planned - Bellamy was chosen to be manipulated and become an inside spy to provide information to Bill / Anders
(not seen on TV) Bellamy was in the mind-read-machine to extract information about important persons - then to extract pictures of Aurora Blake
Bellamy was paired with Ducette to make the Etherna pilgrim trip to bond together AND to make Bellamy a true Disciple in white dress
What about Blodreina?
Maybe Blodreina could be your support buddy.
I hope everybody understands that the real story is NOT about Clarke!
J. Rothenburg just uses the character Clarke to tell us a specific view of the real story - Clarke is 'our action hero' and we (the audience) follows her.
Knowing this - we only can guess when at a specific time (Earth year) - the real Mastermind of the story made the BIG PLAN.
To make it interesting the prequal series will NOT start at the beginning - but uses a common already know ancher in the story to start. There are a lot secrets to tell - which we will see at the current action or with multiple flashbacks. It will be difficult for viewers WITHOUT the knowledge of the.100 to really understand the important details.
I hope Rothenburg finds a path to show us the 'early years of the Masterplan' AND how this really influenced Clarke's action in her future like '100 years later, something will take place....'
At the beginning everything work fine in the bunker.
But at a certain time a real big problem raised!
(action time)
The problem is severe - to fix the problem a period of ONE year is required!
Only with flashbacks we the audience really get the information what happened during the dark year - it will take some time till you will get to see THAT flashback scene!!!
You refer to a time on the Arc!!! in space!
NOT to early time of Arkadia the Skaikru camp on the ground!!!!
@SpinCraft7 absolut correct!
Jaha and Kane failed to make the lottery about a place in the bunker!
To make it short: both Jaha & Kane washed their hands to be innocent as both agreed to use Clarke's list to choose the 100 Skaikru members for the bunker!
True - Raven enforced the list - Jaha!! & Kane executed the list - and ONLY Clarke carries the burden to make the list!
Detail question: Was Octavia Blake on Clarke's list?
The creation of 'Blodreina' can be assigned to two events which happened close to each other!
1st: the Skaikru rebellion action to take the Hydrofarm,
=> which cause Octavia to learn from Jaha about 'to be a leader - to protect the innocent'
=> which caused the fight in front of the mess hall
=> the birth of real angry Octavia = Blodreina
2nd: the request for justice for the rebellion leaders.
=> which enforced Blodreina to take action
=> which was the gladiator fights to establish the rule 'the winner lives'.
To protect Niylah from the Skaikru mob in the center room was NOT a real part to create Blodreina - however it was a 1st indication that Octavia needs to lead - to set the rule 'my power - my rules'. This action however was the base that Niylah lived free and 'around most rules' with access to privileged areas (the rec room, where she hid alcohol) and ensure NOBODY will harm Niylah at all - as we all know that would make Blodreina really angry!
Please relax!
I have twin sisters - but NO children!
It would just be kind of tricky - the twins could easy switch places in school - everywhere WITH the same name!!
(there are a lot TV shows and movies with this topic!!)
The name Tracy Blake is on a list of 'founders of the arc'.
This means Tracy Blake was an astronaut, space technician or similar who was in space in 2052.
All Blake's can be traced back to Tray Blake.
Tracy Blake is called a 'Grounder' which means Tray Blake was BORN on Earth - went to space - and became a member of the 0-generation in space.
1st space generation would be NEXT generation born in space!
Octavia!
In case of twins: Octavia and octaviA
Never heard that name before - and it became my favorite!
Poor baby boy - what to do in that case! Best Blake as a firstname
COVID-19 I think this had lowest effect! Based on Mary A. (Octavia) the crew just finished filming by end March 2020, when the COVID situation required a total stop of action!
Eliza - I think the story line of Clarke was made LONG time ago by Rothenberg. I assume the end could be directed into different stories - Rothenberg decided to show us an "easy end" which most viewer can accept! (I personal did read a lot of analysis and I think to understand the show well - I can explain why we see Clarke at the end in her cell on the Arc again....the story is MUCH more complex)
Bob - here I have lowest information read - and I think that had most impact!!
For both Emori and Madi is true that their body was:
Madi has damaged brain but still breathing
Emori has damaged inner organs AND was already dead! This is proven because Emori's mind was successfully transferred into the mind-drive (which is the process by design - told by Gabriel).
Therefore BOTH Emori and Madi DID successfully transcend.
True - Emori with John Murphy made the decision to un-transcend and be given a new body (for Emori).
True - Madi could make the same decision and would be awarded with a new body - but Madi did accept to stay transcendend!
Finally Clarke spoke true words (in the past) "Madi - you saved MY life" while Madi is also directly responsible that Clarke shoot Bill Cadogan in anger, which causes Clarke NEVER to transcend.
Would be great to see this:
Murphy learned a lot about Sheidheda tactics & strategy during the chess games
3 fleimkepa were required to kill Sheideha - these are Gaia, Clarke & Murphy
Murphy (the false fleimkepa) takes the lead - Clarke supports - Gaia approves
All this could happen on Sanctum within the first 5..6 episodes!
And still Etherea could be a perfect simulation - a test for the conductors!
There is still the chance that Etherea is a pilgrim exam simulation!
However the 3 'golden figures' in the cave of accent impresses me - how could somebody like Bill Cadogan know about the figures AND make that simulation!
After we know the end - true 3 original inhabitants of Etherea looks to transcend from the 'cave of accent' - but there must be more on Etherea.....

Yes, true Becca MUST make nightblood in space!
As the story tells us - nightblood was VERY 1st time used for the crew of Eligius III.
Eligius III is a complex story of it self! - consistent is that all the crew members required officially nightblood due the 2 suns at Alpha destination - the real truth is that all crew members required nightblood to get the memory-drive installed in their head!
By the story Eligius III with the crew (with nightblood) left shortly after December 2043!
This means Becca was in space multiple times, came back to Earth with nightblood to make the Eligius III crew ready for mission.
If Clarke has to die - then I kindly ask to get the flame just before into her head!
Then to die has a purpose - to transfer Clarke's mind into the flame!
Finally for Clarke & Lexa: 'may we meet again' becomes real!
I have a very simple answer - which of course will open new questions!
Eligius III as a mission is a lie - Eligius III spaceship NEVER exists
As a simple conclusion:
Team Alpha took a different way of transport to moon Alpha / Sanctum
Team Beta, one survivor Colin Benson, took a different way to transport to Beta
Team Gamma, Delta and Epsilon might NEVER existed - only the idea of 5 targets did (the author might keep these potential teams as a source for LATER stories)
To hide all these secrets -> memory-drives were required for everybody of Eligius III
Memory-drives emits radiation -> nightblood was required (cover story 2 suns)
The memory-drives contain FALSE memories, which were uploaded into the brain of all team members (to be on Eligius III, to see cryosleep chambers, etc)
